    Angkor Dance Troupe is proud to join The Orchestra on the Hill, Cambodian Mutual Assistance Association of Greater Lowell, and Cambodian Living Arts for An American Tapestry: The Cambodian Spirit, a special celebration of Cambodian heritage, resilience, beauty, and renewal.

    The program brings together Khmer classical dance, traditional Cambodian music, storytelling, and Western orchestral music in a unique cross-cultural collaboration.

    We are also honored to have Cambodian humanitarian, musician, and genocide survivor Arn Chorn-Pond joining the project as our narrator and featured guest.

    Never been? Wondering when/how/where to experience the race? Here`s our guide:

    👉 9-11 AM: Meet the machines on Market St. This is a great opportunity to see the machines up close, talk to the pilots, and maybe even score some swag (known as "bribes" in the kinetic racing world). Have a busy Saturday? Curious, STEM-inspired kids? This is your window

    ✨11 AM: Race opening ceremonies & start on Market St. See who won`t even make it past the first 500 feet (there`s always one...).

    👉12 PM: MADDENING MUDPIT at the Tsongas Center. Ever seen a 50+ foot mudpit? Now is your chance. Want drama, laughs, and to see people get dirty? Head on down. (PS kids LOVE the mudpit)

    ✨12-4 PM: Family Fun Zone at the Sampas Pavillion for the traditional festival vibes. Food trucks, music, games. This is your second chance to catch the machines up close, but it`s also a well deserved lunchbreak for the pilots so you may not get to meet them all.

    👉1:30 PM: The Merrimack Plunge. They`ve made it down the street, they made it through the mud (maybe), but will it float? Watch as the machines splash down for the last obstacle of the race (before sprinting back to the finish!).

    ✨3 PM: The machines sprint back to the finish, back on Market Street. Who will come in first? Dead last? Who is still in the river? We`ll never know... (don`t worry, every machine makes it out of the Merrimack, even if they have to be towed out!)

    👉3:30 PM: After party and awards at Warp & Weft! If you`ve made it this far, might as well close it out. Besides, you don`t want to miss who wins the most epic breakdown award.

    Can`t choose? Stay the whole day! Ride your bike along with the race, or take the complimentary shuttle. It`s a truly unique experience.
