Art For Eyes “Double Vision” Charity Art Show

Art For Eyes a 501(c)(3) nonprofit raising awareness about retinoblastoma (a rare childhood eye cancer). We provide financial relief for Boston Children’s Hospital patients’ prosthetic eyes through art programs and events. We find good people, who are good artists, for a good cause.

We are making it impossible for a person to turn a blind eye to childhood eye cancer. Portions of proceeds of commissioned art work are donated to fund Boston Children’s Hospital eye cancer patients’ prosthetic eyes (*usually not covered by insurance) and inclusive art programs for children with disabilities.

We would like to invite you to participate in our gallery fundraiser “Double Vision” Art Exhibition at CNCPT 6 in Lowell MA, June 3, 2023.

Here is the all-things-eyes art you can expect from artists across the country: Two cohesive pieces will be shown side by side both incorporating eyes. These are to be encouraged to be sold together but can be sold separately. Each artist will show their expression to “see” an artistic and inclusive world (with or without sight). We want to showcase that if eyes are windows to the soul then all eyes are an important story to tell, regardless if they are real or prosthetic (most children with retinoblastoma lose one or both eyes to cancer). All paintings will have at least one eye. But with two eyes, third eye, or hundreds of eyes…the choice is yours to choose what you see when your eyes are closed and we want your vision to be seen. Together, we can create a brighter future for kids battling eye cancer.
