Bill Lowe’s Signifyin’ Natives -Jazz Ensemble

Signifyin’ Natives is an ongoing project of composer and bass trombonist Bill Lowe. This appearance in Lowell is part of the TOOMER TOUR, ’23, in honor of the anniversary of the 100 years since the publication of Harlem Renaissance writer Jean Toomer’s novel, CANE. The ensemble features an all-star international ensemble of Bill Lowe (tuba, bass trombone), Hafez Modirzadeh (saxophones), Taylor Ho Bynum (cornet), Kevin Harris (piano), Ken Filiano (acoustic bass), Luther Gray (drums), Naledi Masilo (vocals)  Tickets are $15 and can be purchased on Eventbrite.
