Cooking Lesson: Homemade Vanilla Apple Pie with a Sugar and Spice Roux

Avery has been making this apple pie with her Mom for more than 4 years for Thanksgiving, Christmas and other special occasions. Avery will make show you how to make her favorite ingredient-vanilla extract. Then she will demonstrate how to make an apple pie with a sugar and spice roux-she will not let Dad make it the old-fashioned way because using the roux is so much better.
