Dragonfly Mercury Monitoring

The Lowell National Historical Park is hosting a public, family-friendly “community science” Dragonfly Monitoring event as part of the nationwide Dragonfly Mercury Project monitoring pollution in local waterways.
Location: GPS Directions: Lowell-Dracut-Tyngsboro State Forest Trotting Park Road in Lowell. Please bring a pair of waterproof boots if you plan on helping us to collect samples. Registration is strongly recommended; call the Park at 978-970-5000.
