Submissions open: Elinor Lipman Award for Writing

Pollard Memorial Library Foundation, through a generous gift from Loom Press, is sponsoring the Elinor Lipman Award for Writing, a competition for fiction and creative nonfiction written by a current resident of Lowell, a current student of University of Massachusetts Lowell or a current student of Middlesex Community College.  A $1,000 prize will be awarded to a single winner, judged by Lowell-born prolific author Elinor Lipman, Gretchen Gerzina and Pilar Garcia-Brown.  Submissions are due on or before May 20, 2022.  For full details and eligibility guidelines, see https://lowelllibrary.org/get-involved/foundation/elinor-lipman-award/.
