Wellness on The Walkways: Urban Hike

Experience Lowell from new perspectives by taking an urban hike through the city’s downtown and along its waterways. This free Ranger-lead program begins at the Lowell National Historical Park Visitor Center (246 Market Street). This urban hike will cover a roundtrip loop of approximately 3 miles and we encourage everyone to walk, stroll, or stride at their own pace along the way.

Please dress for the weather, wear comfortable walking shoes and dress for the weather, bring plenty of water, and anything else you may need to safely enjoy your hike.

Parking:
Lowell National Historical Park visitors may park at the Hamilton Canal Innovation District (HCID) parking garage at 350 Dutton Street. Parking in this garage is available to National Park visitors at no cost provided they obtain a valid parking voucher at the Visitor Center (246 Market Street). Masks are currently required inside of all federal park buildings.
