Fridays through June

9:00AM – 10:00AM – Virtual LGBTQ+ Allies conversational support group for those 60+. Facilitated by the Fenway Institute LGBTQIA+ Aging Project in partnership with the Lowell Senior Center. For more information, click here.

Saturday, June 4th

10:00AM – 11:30AM – Lowell Walks – Lowell’s LGBTQ+ History with Resi Polixa. Explore the diverse layers of Lowell’s LGBTQ+ history and how it overlaps with mill workers, immigrant neighborhoods, and more! For more information, click here.

11:00AM – 11:45AM – LGBTQ+ Books Storytime at Lala Books. A storytime event featuring staff and guest readers sharing LGBTQ+ books for all ages.

12:00PM – Pride Flag Raising at City Hall. For more information, click here.

1:00PM – 6:00PM – Greater Lowell PRIDE at Kerouac Park. Join us for family friendly live entertainment, food, and vendors. For more information, click here.

5:00PM – Pop Culture Place at Western Avenue Studios hosts author Dennis Hobart Giles, composer of a memoir about growing up gay in the 1960s-70s in Lowell and Tewksbury, Massachusetts. For more information, click here.

7:00PM – Screening of Nelly Queen: The Life and Times of José Sarria, Joe Castel’s 2020 documentary at the MCC Cowan Center, Room 101. The film’s director, Joe Castel, will join us live for a post-screening Q&A! Recommended for audiences ages 18+ For more details, email info@unerased.org.

Sunday, June 5th

3:00PM – 6:00PM – Tea Dance for Lowell Pride! at Warp and Weft. Celebrate Lowell Pride with drinks and dancing. $5 suggested donation at the door to benefit future Lowell Pride events. For more information, click here.

3:00PM – 5:00PM – Lowell Chamber Orchestra: A Rainbow of Repertoire. This concert will celebrate Pride Month by showcasing LGBTQ+ composers from the Lowell area and around the world. For more information, click here.

Wednesday, June 8th

2:30PM – 3:30PM – Library Teens Celebrate Pride Month at the Pollard Memorial Library. Create a shoebox sized float for the Library’s own Pride parade. Registration is required and supplies are limited. To register and for more information, click here.
