2026 Ecofilm Series April Screening: The Little Things that Run the World
The Eco-film Series is back for its 14th season with 5 must-see, feature-length films and a special selection of short films!
Mark your calendars for the last Tuesday of the month, January – June!
About the film: Introduces viewers to a diverse group of scientists, nature lovers, gardeners, farmers, and general bug enthusiasts in exploring the importance of flying insects amid rapid declines in their numbers. The film follows them as they attempt to find answers to the precipitous population decline of flying insects around the world, and what this might mean for the stability of our ecosystems and for the rest of life on Earth.
We are grateful for our fantastic partners in this film series, including our co-hosts, the Lowell Film Collaborative, and our venue partner, the Lowell National Historical Park. Our event sponsors are Rockland Trust and the Mass Cultural Council. Thank you to our sponsors and partners for making the series possible!
