The City of Lowell, through the Department of Planning and Development, invites artists to submit proposals for City Hall Street Art (temporary on-street mural) within existing striped curb extensions along Merrimack Street at City Hall and Cardinal O'Connell Parkway. This call is open to individuals living in or holding studio space in Lowell, MA. A virtual info session will be hosted on Tuesday, April 23rd, at 5:30 PM.

A Little Bazaar is seeking LGBTQIA+ makers to vend at their Queer Makers Marketplace on the fifth floor of Mill No. 5 in Lowell, MA. The market will take place on Saturday, June 1st, from 12-4 PM. The Brush Arts Gallery invites artists from across the nation to submit up to three images for consideration for their Art Quilts to Dye For gallery. Quilts must be original and completed within the past 5 years, no taller than 65" and no wider than 60". The fabrics used can be made by you or purchased from another source. Handmade fabrics can be combined with commercial fabrics if most of the fabrics are artistically created.

The Kerouac Project provides six residencies a year to writers of any stripe or age, living anywhere in the world. We encourage BIPOC and LGTBQ writers to apply.
