Her three-part series “Hands Up, Don’t Shoot” has been featured in several group exhibitions, including at the Piano Craft Gallery in Boston and the Public Gallery in Providence.
The reductive charcoal drawings portray protesters in Ferguson, MO, following the fatal police shooting of Michael Brown in 2014. Originating in Ferguson, the phrase has evolved into a symbol and widespread chant in protests throughout the United States.
