Curation 250 is a contemporary art gallery and creative retail shop now located at 51 Market Street in downtown Lowell, MA. Born from a desire to elevate and celebrate creative talent, Curation 250 serves as a bridge between artists and the community and is a vibrant, ever-evolving space where art meets purpose-driven retail. We proudly showcase work by local emerging artists, as well as established national and international creators, offering a diverse and dynamic range of voices, styles, and perspectives. We deeply believe in the power of creative exchange, and are committed to bringing national artists into our space to meet, inspire, and collaborate with local talent — building meaningful connections that enrich both the art and the community behind it.
Curation 250 was born inside the creative haven of Mill No. 5, where we spent six incredible years growing alongside Lowell’s independent arts scene. Within those historic brick walls, we hosted over 40 exhibitions, collaborated with countless artists, and built a loyal community that valued authenticity, artistry, and accessibility. That foundation shaped who we are today.
In October of 2025, we will move into a standalone location on Market Street, a collaboration with UpNext, for the next phase in our evolution. Our new home offers greater visibility and fresh opportunities to connect with the public, while continuing to honor the community spirit we cultivated at Mill No. 5.
Though our location has changed, our purpose remains the same: to make a space that celebrates art, creativity, and connection because Art is For Everyone!
