Speculative Fiction Rec’ing Crew Book Club

We welcome a new Book Club to lala books this month. This one will run a bit different than usual. Rather than read a single book, participants will read within a theme. Drop in and talk books with other readers. (There will be snacks)

The rules for the Speculative Fiction Reccing Crew are simple:
1. Come with one recommendation within the monthly topic.
2. Come with one recommendations among what you read that month.

January: New Year/ New Author
February: Black Writer spotlight
March: Female identifying Writer Spotlight
April: Funniest book
May: Asian and Pacific Islander authors
June: Best LGBTQ author
July: Best Magic/Science system
August: Best Romance
September: Best YA
October: Best Graphic novel
November: Indigenous Authors
