Karen Christians and Loading Dock Gallery present SPIN: an installation of 350 spin casting molds and over 2000 pewter castings. SPIN transforms relics into commentary and art with flashes of gold leaf. Imagery evokes the industrial past. Structured, swirling, SPIN invites contemplation of pattern and change in manufactured and natural worlds.
SPIN runs August 31 through September 25 at Loading Dock Gallery, 122 Western Avenue, Lowell, MA. Open noon-5:30pm, Wednesday-Saturday; noon-4pm Sundays.
