Trouble at Turtle Pond
June 8 @ 5:30 pm - 6:30 pm

The Lowell Parks and Conservation Trust welcomes volunteers each year to help foster Blanding’s Turtles, a species suffering from habitat loss.
Author Diana Renn was inspired by her work with the turtles in Concord to write this fabulous middle grade novel, Trouble at Turtle Pond, a mystery that shows the importance of friendship and the empowerment of taking a stand.
Join the author as discusses how she melded her research and activism around preservation of the turtles with fiction writing. And, you might get to meet some of the Blanding’s Turtle fosters before they are let back into their natural habitat.
This event is a collaborative effort with lala books, The Lowell Parks and Conservation Trust, and the Friends of the Pollard Memorial Library
