World Refugee Day Celebration

Hear exciting speakers, enjoy live performances, eat delicious food, and have a lot of fun!
The event will feature guest speakers from around the world, each recounting their “Backpack Story” and detailing their immigration to the US. This year our keynote speakers will be social media influencers Mari & Yoel (YouTube: @YoelAndMari, Instagram: @mimaincuba) along with a representative from the Massachusetts Office for Refugees and Immigrants. 
Be sure to bring your favorite blanket and/or lawn chair to enjoy all the festivities and refreshments. 
Show your support by donating a NEW, child or youth backpack on the day of the event. Backpacks collected will be filled with school supplies and distributed at the end of the summer to refugee students in Lowell and the surrounding communities.
