Classes will cover the fundamentals of making candles, including safety procedures, wax melting techniques, fragrance blending, and vessel preparation.

Denise Manseau for her “Paper Work” exhibition at Arts Research Collaborative in Lowell during the fall of 2024. Manseau’s art focuses on documenting her perception of the natural world on paper with a mix of traditional and non-traditional methods, inspired by her research of traditional Japanese materials and artistic methods.

The exhibit showcases the artwork of Lowell-practicing artists to celebrate the diverse experiences and identities within the LGBTQ+ community. Artwork of various artistic mediums will be exhibited in the lobby of Lowell City Hall this June with a reception on Tuesday, June 11th, at 5:30 PM.

Matthew Wolderding for the “Public Art Community Activation Cube,” a collaborative project with Quest Nine and YouthBuild. Located in a public space and designed with the goals of gathering community input for public art and community needs, inspiring community pride, and providing resources for the community, this dynamic installation will take the form of a large wooden cube with four sides serving distinct community-oriented purposes.

Lowell Summer Music Series for the support of Free Fun For Kids, a program held at Boarding House Park through the summer of 2024. The program is presented by the Lowell Festival Foundation and provides free live music, dance, and additional entertainment to youth.
