RSVP to watch a free filming of Reflection: A Walk with Water at the Lowell National Historical Park Visitor Center on Tuesday, May 28th, from 6:30-8:30 PM! During this film, Emmett Brennan walks the length of the Los Angeles Aqueduct in search of a vision for humanity worth living for.

This event is hosted as part of Lowell Film Collaborative and Lowell Parks & Conservation Trust's Eco-Film Series.

iNaturalist Citizen Science

Explore Hawk Valley Farm on Saturday, June 8th, from 10 AM - 12 PM to learn about the diverse plant and animal species in Lowell's natural landscape. 

Lowell Parks & Conservation Trust will host a special training session using the iNaturalist app, which is a tool for documenting and exploring the natural world. Attendees will learn how to use the app to record observations of plants, animals, fungi, and more. Afterwards, the group will explore the beautiful biodiversity of Hawk Valley Farm.

Birding in the City

Practice and fine-tune your birding skills during Lowell Parks & Conservation Trust's Birding in the City event at the Concord River Greenway (15 Davidson St) on Sunday, June 9th, from 7-9 AM.

LP&CT member and expert birder Mike Baird will lead the group in observing migratory and resident birds in the urban environment. Discover what birds are amidst the hustle and bustle of the city. Make sure to wear sturdy shoes, dress appropriately for the weather, and bring your own binoculars if you have them. This two-hour walk is suitable for all levels of experience and mobility.
