Book to Film Vol 1 movie night

We are so excited to partner with the Lowell Film Collaborative for Book To Film Volume 1 We'll kick off the season with lala books staff favorite, The Princess Bride (book by by William Goldman) Bring your blankets and chairs for an outdoor showing of the movie at Kerouac Park. This is the perfect way to end a PRIDE-full day in downtown Lowell. We'll start the show at sunset And save the date for the rest of our Book to Film season! Sunday, August 6, Book Club meeting about Like Water for Chocolate by Laura Esquivel Tuesday, August 15, 6:30pm showing of the film Like Water for Chocolate at The Luna Theater Sunday, September 10, 2pm Book Club meeting about Push by Saphire Tuesday, September 19, 6:30pm, showing of the film Precious (based on the novel Push) at The Luna Theater This series is made possible in part through a grant from the Lowell Cultural Council.
